Due to the access works which will be done during summer 2008 and the possible modifications not predictable till the school resumes, the information given in this page might evolve as soon as September 2008.

The safety procedures will be also updated and put on line in September 2008.

New Site - Kindergarten and Primary CP/CE1

Timetable

There is no modification on the 2 sites :

- beginning: 8.15 am

- End : 15.15 pm (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday)
- End : 12.15 pm (Wednesday and Friday)

TO LFS

The buses first drop-off the students from CE2 to secondary.

no change : refer to the safety measures regarding the parking.

No more Kindergarten on the LFS site, only the staff is authorized to park their car within the LFS.

TO THE NEW SITE

Then, the buses drop-off the students from kindergarten to CE1 to the new site alongside the link way.

1/ The students of PS are brought into the classrooms by the bus mothers.

2/ The students of MS and GS gather into the playground area under surveillance.

3/ The students of CP and CE1 gather into the playground area under surveillance.

1/ parking area within the school (from Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3) for vehicles bringing kindergarten children only. A label is available at the administration from September.

Note : parking is authorized only on this parking area; the road between the 2 main buildings and the access from Kensington Road are reserved for the YSB buses which need space to manoeuvre.

2/ access from Kensington Road is strictly reserved to the staff. Lot of parking lots available close to the school.

Reminder: it is forbidden to park your car alongside the slip road (double yellow line). Complying with the rules is crucial between the 2 school sites in order to facilitate the buses traffic.

1/ no change: refer to the safety measures regarding pedestrians access.

2/ Pedestrians and cyclists can enter the school either from Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 or from Kensington Road.

3/ However, bicycles must be parked at the site entry to avoid any dangerous crossing with the buses. Pedestrians must also only use the covered link way to go across the campus.

Note : 1/ Kindergarten : parents have to bring their children directly to the classroom.

2/ Primary : parents have to leave their children in the playground area.

the time to get in the bus will be reduced comparing to the current situation.

FROM THE NEW SITE

Note : buses arrive by numerical order and the students are already gathered by bus number to avoid waste of time.

Lunch

- Food is cooked in the LFS canteen and brought to the site by a van especially equipped.

- The students from CE2 to CM2 have lunch in the LFS canteen (2 rounds)

- The students from PS to CE1 have lunch in the new site canteen (3 rounds)

Extra Curriculum Activities

- The students from CE2 to CM2 have their activities on the LFS site

- The students from MS to CE1 have their activities on the new site (To be confirmed for Swimming CP/CE1)

- Wednesday :

CE2-CM2 : lunch in the LFS canteen (hot meal)
CP-CE1: lunch in the new site canteen (hot meal)

- Friday :

CE2-CM2: lunch in the primary covered playground (cold meal)
CP-CE1: lunch in the new site canteen (cold meal)

Note: The kindergarten students have a light lunch in the classroom before dismissal.
