GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
|
If the student in question comes from a French private or public education
system under a contract of association, or from a French system in the
A.E.F.E (Agency of French education in foreign countries), please refer
to the next paragraph (documents needed).
If the student comes from a French private educational system without
a contract, or a foreign educational system, or an educational system
not approved by the French Ministry of National Education, the student
has to pass an admission exam (or readmission exam) beforehand in the
public French educational system. Please contact the LFS on the type
of exam, according to the level.
N.B: If the student comes from a French private educational system,
the family has to supply a certificate from this school showing that
it is "under a contract of association with the state".
September admissions
The admission forms must be completed by June 1st, except for the documents
obtained at the end of the 3rd trimester ( the end-of-term report with
an admission to the next year,
). These documents have to be given
in by the July 1st or the first day of school for certain secondary
school documents (school report for the Baccalaureat, Brevet paper,
etc
)
If you can not respect these deadlines, we ask that you contact the
school secretariat as soon as possible.
Admissions during the school year
The admissions folder has to be completed before the students arrival.
The school report, if it has been given to the family by the former
school faculty, has to be delivered to the general school secretariat
at the latest on the first day of school.
|
!! N.B. !!
- An admission is only confirmed on receipt of registrations
fees ( )
and Headmaster's approval.
The LFS will not issue any invoice for the registration fees.
A receipt can be asked once the LFS has received the fees !
- The documents received by fax or e-mail have only a temporary
value. All the original signed forms have to be received before
a child can be accepted.
- The application for registration is only valid for a limited
period. You must report to the general secretariat regarding any
changes.
- Student with Singaporean nationality: the school has
to ask for approval from the Ministry of Education (MOE) before
confirming the student's registration. This process also has to
take place if the student has a different nationality. In this
case, please contact the school secretariat as early as possible.
Advice for filling in the documents
:
- If you do not have a permanent Singapore address, please provide
us with a current e-mail address and please notify us of any changes.
- Be accurate in the information provided. Write down the exact
name of your company (it will eventually be used for school accounting
when establishing your bills), the exact address (with the postal
code and if possible the name of the person in charge of the expatriates),
etc
- Do not forget to give the student's arrival date.
